Jurnal Kesehatan Poltekkes Kemenkes RI Pangkalpinang is an electronic journal published by Politeknik Kesehatan Kemenkes Pangkalpinang, providing a forum for publishing novel technologies and knowledge related to the health sciences. The journal's scope broadly includes public health, medicine, nursing, midwifery, nutrition, pharmacy, environmental health, health technology, medical laboratory, health education, and any specific issues related to health.

The journal was first published online in 2017, while the printed version has been published since 2013. It is published twice a year, in June and December, and provides immediate full open access to all of its content free of charge. Every submitted manuscript is first selected through an Initial Review by the editorial board, then evaluated by the peer-reviewer team through a double-blind review process. Reviewers assess manuscripts on both substantive and technical aspects, and the final decision on acceptance is made by the Editors based on the reviewers' comments. Authors must comply with the writing guidelines and register before submitting a manuscript. Manuscripts that do not conform to the guidelines will be returned to the authors before further review.
